DESCRIPTION:
French marble and cast bronze garniture set: figural 8 days, time and strike, clock; two ornate urn sidepieces, c1880
CONDITION:
the bronze has an old warm somewhat worn patina, and the veined stone pieces are intact. The base of the statue is signed "L.F. Moreau" and needs to be tightened a bit on the base. The porcelain dial and beveled glass are fine. The movement, with count wheel and bell strike, is by A.D.Mougin, and needs a pendulum. One sidepiece has two broken rear feet; one is repaired and one is missing its lower portion. Ht of clock is 25"
